We have created a new space for women’s creative self-realization, where they can bring their ideas and creative concepts to life and earn income from them. It’s a sewing workshop equipped with everything needed for garment-making. This means that for a modest fee, any woman can gain access to specialized equipment that would otherwise be difficult — for many, impossible — to acquire on her own.

It’s the first space of its kind, and the need for it has long been overdue. It’s a place where women come together for collaborative creative work, exchange ideas, support one another, find joy in creating, and earn money by bringing their ideas to life. Newcomers receive guidance and mentorship from experienced specialists. This spirit of creative teamwork inspires the sharing of knowledge and skills, as well as new joint projects. For many, this space has become a starting point for building a small craft business, helping them develop their own brands and products.

Our space also supports the social integration of women into their new country, giving them a chance to connect with the local community, since the workshop is located in the center of Vilnius. It fosters collaboration between craftspeople and local artists and designers, opening up new opportunities for joint creative work, income, and self-realization. Importantly, this space also helps promote and preserve traditional crafts, passing them on to future generations — giving not only adults but also our children the chance to discover traditional crafts and develop their own creative potential.
